Last week I talked with someone about the topic of ‘inspiration’. And our common habit of seeking inspiration and wanting to store inspirational quotes and images that resonated.
Apart from my post on internalizing, from 2019, I do practice storing beautiful quotes, articles (and more). Once in a while, I scroll through this, and I find a new perspective or just read something that I need at that specific moment. It’s a space for inspiration to go to.
This storage I keep in Slack. Why? It’s easy to access, I already have Slack open for work and I only needed to create a Slack account for my personal notes. I keep some specific lists in separate channels (like what to read, or sometimes groceries, a channel for notes of my coaching sessions, and so on). You only need the free Slack plan to do this, because no one else will be in your slack account. And the search-option in slack is really strong.
I do this for 5 years now and thought it was time to share.
