You’ve started off the year with fresh energy.
How did that go?
Is your ambition is growing over your head, and does your task list for tomorrow equal your potential time in the upcoming month, every day, without sleep?
It’s time to start conscious rejection.
The concept is simple.
Start your day with one task. One goal. The only next utmost important one. A task that if you would die after it, you would be satisfied that you’ve done it (figure of speech 😉).
Reject everything that’s not that. But not passively (just not looking at it), but actively.
Calling that friend? No.
Doing the laundry today? No.
Saying you will read that book? No.
Following up that lead you don’t believe in? No.
Making a potential list of potential important stuff? No.
Answering that one e-mail of that friend that always asks you for help, that’s on the top of your inbox? No.
Conscious rejection is the answer for ad-hoc distraction.
