The Last Scroll

Since I’ve watched “the social dilemma” on Netflix, I know. And I’ve known for some time to be frank, since I’ve read into tech and brains since 2010.

We humans are trigger junkies. We crave for the next micro-stimulus and once we experience something that gives us just that tiny dopamine shot, we crave the next and the next. Until we’ve scrolled for 20 minutes of our lives and discover that invaluable time was gone. Just without doing anything of value, except creating micro stimuli for other junkies on the socials.

So what now?

Plan The Last Scroll for yourself. Every day. It’s the last scroll when you have become aware that day that you are scrolling (doing crap) with your life.

The Last Scroll will tap into your scroll habit, as a new habit. The goal is to better discover when to stop, because it’s becoming aware of your behaviour. Ultimately changing your mindset into scrolling less and less until your last scroll isn’t daily but weekly, monthly or even less.

With the hours you win in the day, do some charity work!
