Like no other, Steve Jobs could create buzz around something. It was one of his superpowers. Steve was a brilliant marketer. One of a kind.
15 September 2020 – we mark his 9th passing anniversary next month – is the first September release in over 10 years that Apple didn’t release a new iPhone…
To me, this marks the end of an era.
What would Steve have done now? We just don’t know. Apple has grown up. It makes it’s own choices.
I just didn’t expect that not releasing an iPhone in September was an option. Ever. I think for Steve it wouldn’t have been an option.
Apple was raised by Steve.
Let’s hope Apple has enough of Steve still in it, so that it just keeps thinking different. We have enough average tech corporates around already.
