Our voice is creating stories all the time.
About ourselves. Others. Stuff. Everything.
It just doesn’t want to shut up. It never does.
In meditation you train to see the thoughts, and see the silence underneath.
The silence underneath is you.
You think the voices are you.
But if you see you clearly, you’ll discover that the voice becomes just a voice, instead of you.
If you get to know yourself, the voice slowly becomes a whisper.
And finally, although there’s always that voice, you will hear and feel an unconscious silence that’s always there.
You just need to take the time to listen.
