A marketer writes a message to a broad audience on Facebook. Sets the specific audience interests, location target, age, gender. Great landing page. Only time is in between of a successful converting campaign.
But is it?
A message to a broad audience is never as interesting for the one person reading it at a time, as a tailored message is. Would you feel special when you have a letter in the mail that sais ‘dear reader’ and is addressed to ’to the owner of this house’?
People are convinced one soul at a time.
We are all individual people that want to relate to stories. We crave stories. We want to be chosen. We want to be special. That’s why we can only relate to stories when they address us. Not us as an audience. Us as an individual. So we can say “Yes, I an that person you’re calling”.
