“I don’t have a choice”

You do.

I don’t have a choice is a childish way of saying that you have a choice but you don’t want to make the hard decision and face the consequences.

This morning, I caught myself saying “I don’t have a choice”, when we spoke about losing weight and eating less. Now that I sleep less already for some weeks (kiddo breaks the nights), I fall back into old habits. So I make excuses instead of decisions. Let’s stop making excuses.

You always have a choice.
