People that are successful in managing multiple projects at the time: we envy them.
Super entrepreneurs. The people that have made many companies a great success.
They don’t multitask.
They do one thing at a time.
And they nail that.
They get rid of all distraction.
But they have multiple projects?
Look deeper, they did not start them all at the same time.
When we try to copy them and become super entrepreneurs ourselves, we start multiple projects as well.
And we try to manage them all at the same time.
But the thing is, they never did that.
We learnt the wrong lesson.
The lesson is this.
Do one thing.
Nail that.
And when it’s done, it compounds.
Whereas our multitasked projects only profit from simple interest.
Because we never gave it space to use our full potential, because of our distraction.
The successful entrepreneurs finish one thing. And then finish the next. And the next. And the next. And it compounds. And compounds. And compounds.
It’s western culture to focus on the number of projects and busywork to define success. Only the lucky few see it coming back to them in money.
But when you focus and become the world champion in your óne thing, you will discover the value of compound interest on your work.
