I allow myself an imaginary five minutes to write every day.
As goes with recording in my audio log / podcast.
A five minute window is short. It requires to think rapidly and act focused.
And five minutes is just rarely enough for the change I seek to make.
Even though, I set the imaginary timer.
Things we could finish in five, may be finished in ten. But if we don’t set the timer for ourselves, we might as well not finish.
If we don’t set a timer, we just don’t want to finish things bad enough.
