And this is what I have noticed
- I have a 16-8 routine (eat from noon to 8PM) and that works perfect for me
- Hunger is gone (this feels like a sort of magic…)
- No more trigger in the evenings for snacking (magic again…)
- I feel a more constant energy during the day, instead of dips, especially my 2 hour after lunch dip is gone
- I feel a slightly improved morning focus (although this can be placebo)
- My meal prep! I appreciate that very much 🙂
- Less need for carbohydrates during and in between of my meals
- Lost 1,5 Kilo (I believe 50% is to be attributed to the fasting)
- I nearly forgot this, but I’m drinking a lot more! Tea and water. Especially in the evenings.
What can be improved
- Forgot to bring my meal prep to work a couple of days, then I fall back into old habits
- The planning with cooking the meal prep is still a hassle now (hope that changes when it gets into my system)
- My daughter doesn’t understand it when we eat breakfast and I don’t accept food she wants to give to me
- Immune system improvements I haven’t noticed yet
PS. You may have noticed that my publishing schedule has changed. It’s between 10AM and 1PM CET (Dutch time) now. I was planning on doing this for some time already. However, when I recently received a couple of birthday wishes a day later I knew it was time. New posts will be pushed live in the morning (CET) from now on.
