When we recently went through security in Marsa Alam airport, all people were searched.
Searching. That’s what happens in security at airports.
Our – now two-minus-two-weeks – daughter made a comment on what she was seeing.
“Mama, that man is stroking”
I only just then realized that there’s a very friendly stroking and nearly cuddling process going on at every airport security.
We grown ups only happen to experience that it’s searching, and thus a negative or at best a neutral experience.
Not kids. They see things for what they are at it’s core. Kids are free of judgement.
Stroking is nice. It’s friendly. It’s love.
It’s just a matter of perspective.
