In my first week of mindfulness in 2015 I have learnt that being present isn’t the same as being aware.
You can know there’s something called a presence without being there present in the moment.
But this depth of presence and living you can only know and obtain this learning by experiencing.
Headspace (my mindfulness app) starts with the task to try to be aware of yourself standing up and/or sitting down 3 times a day.
Shocker: if you manage to do two on your first day, it’s outstanding.
Every day is a new day, every moment a new moment. Now go and be curious and present.
