Yesterday I have created my first video ‘for seruous’ with my girlfriend around.
It’s not that I don’t record with her around. I do, and share it with friends, family, Instagram.
But this was different. I’m creating to share a story, talking into a camera. That’s currently out of my comfort zone.
When I create, often I need to step over a social level of awkwardness.
By creating, I do stuff that most people don’t, although if they do they are mostly professionals.
And I find that hard, but I’m learning.
Every time I learn that by doing and being vulnerable for myself and others, I grow.
What if stepping out of our comfort zone was actually the standard?
