Changing the message

Did you know that most millennials edit their message after posting it online?

Almost évery message?

Social media is makeable.

From LinkedIn to Snap. Insta to Pin and TikTok.

Social media is not a reflection of reality.

It’s a reflection of how we would like to see a perfect reality.

That’s what millennials like: perfect.

Not even speaking about gen. Z and gen. Alpha.

What’s the lesson in not falling and not failing?

Is the lesson that we think and feel perfection is the norm?

I would go as far to say that socially perfect is probably disabled in reality.

What’s free about the freedom of changing what you have said or done?

It’s time that we start to feel more regret, frustration and desire. Time for more “oh, no’s”, “I want to’s”, “I haven’t’s” and “I’m so sorry’s”.

To me that’s a better reality than “indeed’s”, “likes” and “love’s”.

We need to get out of our vicious digital reality, otherwise our world will become really, réally, small.
