It’s not a race

The definition of a race is simple: whoever is first, wins.

Making more hours in the office than our colleagues.

Being a better parent than my friends.

Getting a higher grade than the rest of the class.

Having the main role.

Being the president.

Winning the gold medal.

The thing is, most things in life are not races.

However, we insist on perceiving them that way.
