Every once in a while racism is hot topic again. Rarely I talk about it, because I don’t want it to be there, from the deepest of my heart. I keep hoping we’re past that station as humanity.
But we’re not. And although we’re making progress, it’s slow. And that’s deeply saddening.
When events like the killing of George Floyd happen, I often turn to the works of wise black people, to find perspective. Today a Maya Angelou quote stuck with me.
