Turning to the oracles

In times of uncertainty we massively seem to go to oracles to predict our futures.

I see old and statusful economists with millions of views on YouTube, for videos only days old.

But why?

If you’re unhappy with your personal present, do something about it.

If you’re unhappy with your past (and project that to an unhappy future), do something about it.

You can go to the oracles and listen to them predicting.

But due to the unpredictable nature of futures we can only predict, we can’t know.

So accept uncertainty.

Don’t go to the oracles.

Do something about your future instead.
