Your phone knows.
How many time do you spend at Instagram per week?
Let’s take a low-ball average and say 3 hours.
Thats 156 hours a year.
And what amount of that time could’ve been directed to your work that matters?
Or interacting with people that matter?
Or learning a new skill?
Let’s just for one moment imagine that you don’t need Instagram. Just like 10 years ago you didn’t need it.
What could you do in 156 hours?
Work for 156 hours in the supermarket. Let’s say you make €15/hr, that’s €2,3K.
A page a minute: you could read 37 books of 250 pages.
Call for an hour a month with 13 of your best friends en relatives and really strengthen your relationship.
Or build a legacy:
A page an hour: you could write a 156 page book.
A painting a day: you could make 19 paintings.
You could set-up 52 3-hour business plans.
Create a community of friends that exit Instagram and go talk with lonely elderly people.
The exact activity will depend on your purpose in life, but don’t tell me that you can’t find better use of those 3 hours a day than Instagram.
